Before Care
- Avoid Sun Exposure:
Stay out of the sun and tanning beds for 1-2 weeks before treatment. - No Waxing or Exfoliation:
Skip waxing and harsh exfoliants for 1-2 weeks prior. - Discontinue Retinoids & Acne Medications:
Stop using retinoids and acne treatments 3-5 days before. - Avoid Blood Thinners:
Refrain from blood-thinning medications 48 hours before. - Shave (If Necessary):
Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment.
After Care
- Avoid Sun Exposure:
Stay out of the sun for 1-2 weeks and use SPF 30+ daily. - No Heat or Steam:
Avoid hot showers, saunas, or steam for 48 hours. - Moisturize:
Use a gentle, hydrating moisturizer to soothe your skin. - Do Not Touch or Pick at Skin:
