Before and After Care Guide
Before Care
- Avoid Sun Exposure:
Stay out of the sun and tanning beds for 2 weeks before treatment. - Shave the Treatment Area:
Shave 24 hours before your appointment (do not wax or tweeze). - No Exfoliation or Harsh Products:
Avoid using exfoliants or skincare products like retinoids 2-3 days before. - Avoid Fake Tan:
Do not use self-tanners for at least 1 week before.
After Care
- Avoid Sun Exposure:
Stay out of the sun for 2 weeks and use SPF 30+ on treated areas. - No Heat or Steam:
Avoid hot showers, saunas, and steam rooms for 24-48 hours. - Moisturize:
Apply a gentle, hydrating moisturizer to soothe skin. - Avoid Scratching or Rubbing:
Do not touch or scratch the treated area. - Avoid Intense Exercise:
Skip vigorous exercise for 24 hours to prevent irritation. - No Waxing or Plucking:
Shave only between sessions; do not wax or pluck.
